Massak is a Cameroon (Africa) band, fronted and led by Franck Biyong. It is influenced by many styles including Makossa, Bikut-si, TETES BRULEES, which are styles of soul and jazz popularized in Africa. Massak is composed of Samantha Lavital, Cristina Violle (vocals, background vocals); Franck Biyong (spoken vocals, guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, Fender Rhodes piano, keyboards, balafon, bass instrument, congas, djembe, shaker, percussion, drum programming, background vocals); Nicolas Baudino (flute, tenor saxophone); Marc Borlet Hotte (trumpet, flugelhorn); Auguste Manly (drums, hi-hat); Mansara (background vocals). .

Caspar Brötzmann (born 1962 in Germany) is an electric guitar player. In Caspar Brötzmann Massaker, Caspar Brötzmann is joined by his friends Eduardo Delgado Lopez (bass / vocals), Danny Arnold Lommen (drums) and, occasionally, by FM Einheit ("street salvage" percussionist). While Brötzmann typically performs with the power trio lineup of Massaker, with guitar, bass guitar and drum set, he only uses rock and roll and heavy metal music as a basis for his music.
