Sein Mutta is the leader of the Mandalay Sein Mutta Saing Orchestra from Myanmar (a.k.a. Burma). It is a hsaing waing orchestra. Due to the few variations in Burmese names, it is common to have various additions to one's name, indicating place of origin or profession. Hence Sein Mutta is also known as Mandalay Sein Mutta or Saing Saya Sein Mutta. Outside of his native country he is known for his appearances on the Sublime Frequencies label, under the names Mandalay Sein Mottah and Sein Moota.
