Fuat Saka (born 1952 in Trabzon, Turkey), is a Turkish singer, songwriter, arranger, guitarist (although he may be more precisely called a multi-instrumentalist), who defines his music as "jazz in Laz". Saka is of Laz descent. Saka received art training in İstanbul, and later music training in France and Germany. He had to leave Turkey in 1980, after the coup for political reasons. He lived in Europe up until 1998, travelling and collaborating with numerous musicians. FUAT ERGIN / BIOGRAPHY Fuat Ergin was born in Berlin, in 1972. He came to Turkey (to his native town, Sile) with his family for a temporary stay in 1984. After staying there 5 years, he turned back to Germany. In 1992, he wrote his first rap song in English. In 1995, he decided to write his songs in Turkish, because he has proficiency in three languages, but he was thinking of in Turkish. Mazhar Alanson and Fuat Güner formed this duo in 1973 and wrote one of the psychedelic classic albums in Turkish music scene Türküz Türkü Çağırırız (which means "We are Turks, we sing Turkish folk songs"). Later on, the bass guitar player Özkan Uğur joined the band and they became MFÖ (the first letter of their names) which is a very famous pop music trio in Turkey, known by almost everyone.
