The Crooner are: Zissimos (The Crooner)-vocals, guitars, keyboards, samples. Miss Honeybeetle- backing vocals. Natasha-backing vocals. Makis Petratos (Makis P.)-bass, synthesizers, sampling, programming. In the early nineties, Zissimos (also founding member of One Night Suzan ) started giving solo acoustic shows in Athens assisted by Makis P. (who was then a member of Next Time Passions). The first fruit of this collaboration was the release of 7’’ vinyl “Songs from the Valley of Love” in 1994 on Greek This Happy Feeling label (feel 04). There are two bands named "The Crooners": One is an American band that plays music rooted in the blues and jazz of the 20s and 30s. They originally started out as street performers in Paris. The other one is a band from Germany that merges Ska with Rock'n'Roll. In 2009 they released their debut album "Legion of the dumped" which has been embraced by ska and rock fans alike. The album has been called "the best ska debut album since years". .
