At least two bands share this name: 1) A metal band based in Belgium: Back in 1997 a few young lads, that had been listening to a lot of Bolt thrower, Obituary and Slayer, set their mind to an own metalband. Welkin Dusk is an anarchist blackened thrash/crust band with members of Expendable Youth and Abrade. They formed in Chicago in mid 2010. Their influences include black metal, crust, and thrash. They released their first 4 song S/T demo tape in Sept. of 2010 and In June 2011 they released their first full length, Born Into A Dying World.
