They started out playing covers of rock standards of the time, numbers from the Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, etc... In 1973, they discovered jazz rock, particularly the MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA, WEATHER REPORT and Miles DAVIS. This discovery laid the ground for their future compositions.
