Taking its name from that of a mathematical magic square, IXOHOXI was the ambient project of Dan Russo. Russo passed away on the 15th of January, 2007. IXOHOXI uses a variety of acoustic and electronic instruments from modern synthesizers, piano, and processed guitars to rain sticks and shakers. Creations are atmospheric and ethereal soundscapes often mixed with ambient sounds.
