Obří broskev (Giant Peach) is an indie-pop band from the Czech Republic which centres around the vocalist and songwriter Canny. Obří broskev began life as a simple student band in 1994. In 1997 the band transformed, loosing some old members and gaining some new. With this refreshed line-up they played gigs all around Česká Lípa. In 2003 Broskev released a four track EP Přichází po špičkách (She is coming on tiptoe) and started playing support gigs in Prague for people such as the famous Czech singer Lenka Dusilová and the band Druhá tráva.

In November 2004 they released their first LP, Vybrané scény z dětského snu (Selected Sequences From Dream Of Child).

As their popularity grew, the band started headlining their own gigs in Prague and around the country, in summer 2005 they also supported the first Czech Pop Idol winner Aneta Langerová.

In summer 2006 they released a three track EP and in 2007 remix album called RMX.

In April 2008 band released second LP, Potápěči (The Divers).
