Trip rock is a form of alternative rock that consists of a fusion of Psychedelic rock, late 90’s electronica and a dense, dark sound. Examples of trip rock can be found on Massive Attack’s Mezzanine album (Angel - track) & the Gathering's If_then_else album (Analog Park - track). The Psychedelic element of the music mostly comes from Piper at the Gates of Dawn / A Sauceful of Secrets era Pink Floyd. .
