Extreme doom metal is an umbrella term for such genres as funeral doom metal, sludge and drone doom that is often used to describe the most extreme bands in doom metal styles and its relatives. Prominent examples of this genre are Worship, Khanate, Moss, Rigor Sardonicous, Tyranny, Burning Witch and Toadliquor .
