Mortuus caelum was formed 2004 in Athens Hellas as a project of members from the bands unholy ritual, diabolical principles and grumium. Their style is Norwegian black metal in the vein of Darkthrone, Burzum, etc with some new influences. The band consists of 2 members plus 1 session:Gareth:guitars, vocals Geegor: drums Drakhon: bass. They have released 2 demos; one in the last month of 2004 entitled inners imperator and one April 2005 entitled bright innocence of nature. .

Spiritus Mortis was formed in late summer of 1987. The first band in Finland to be called as a Doom act. Founding members were Teemu and Jussi. At first V-P was only a temporary drummer but as usually shit happens and temporary became permanent. At first band was known as Rigor Mortis but at that time there was also US band called Rigor Mortis so we changed the name to Spiritus Mortis. SM's unique sound can be heard from the very early demos. Growling bass, massive guitars and viciously thundering drums. Totally unique and unheard in Finland. Cult following was...

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Mortuus is a black metal band with a slower paced style using heavy guitars echoing from beyond the grave, deep vocals praising death and occult lyrics that gives a dark and gloomy sensation of rot and decay. The band was formed in Umeå, Sweden in 2003 by the current band members J. Kvarnbrink (aka Tehôm)(bass/guitars/vocals) and M. Hinze (drums). Tehôm is currently active in Ofermod where he plays bass and has previously played with Dödfödd(Stillborn) and Shade of Black as a guitarist and as a vocalist in Shade of Black....
