Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 - July 6, 1971) nicknamed Satchmo or Pops, was an American jazz trumpeter and singer from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Coming to prominence in the 1920s as an inventive trumpet and cornet player, Armstrong was a foundational influence in jazz, shifting the focus of the music from collective improvisation to solo performance. With his instantly-recognizable gravelly voice, Armstrong was also an influential singer, demonstrating great dexterity as an improviser, bending the lyrics and melody of a song for expressive purposes. He was also skilled at scat singing (vocalizing using sounds and syllables instead of actual lyrics)....
BeBop or 비밥 is a South Korean girl band formed by the members: Ji-In (bass and vocals), Ju Woo (guitar and vocals) and A-yeon (drums and vocals). The band officially debuted, under the record label LOEN Entertainment and affiliate label HMI Entertainment, in February 13, 2014.
In August 2013, Humming Urban Stereo and BeBop released a project single “MAEM MAEM”. As a follow up activity, they recorded “Beautiful Man” as an OST theme song for “Pretty Boy” drama.
Finally, in February 2014, they released their first mini-album “Between the Lips” with the debut title track “I am the best”.
