Amesoeurs was a French blackgaze band from Avignon, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur led by Stéphane "Neige" Paut (Alcest, Lantlôs, Old Silver Key, Mortifera, Peste Noire, Phest, Les Discrets and Empyrium), Fursy Teyssier (Les Discrets, Phest Alcest), Audrey Sylvain (Peste Noire and Alcest) and Jean "Winterhalter" Deflandre (Alcest, Les Discrets and Peste Noire). The music combined the early/mid-'90s black metal sound with elements of post-punk, shoegaze, industrial and female vocals.
