There are at least three bands called Gloss. 1) Gloss were a Liverpool-based indie-pop band that released one album in 2001. The group's multi-national line-up included Paul Cavanagh (guitar), Martin Lynch (bass), Paul Maguire (drums), Jonas Theis (keyboards) and Heidrun Anna (vocals). They wrote and recorded songs that are timeless pop - rich in melody and drawn from influences such as The Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach, Television, Stereolab, Barry White, Carole King, Blondie, Françoise Hardy, Air and Madonna. 1. Glossolalia is a one-person extreme metal project formed in 2006, with recorded material through 2009. Crepusculo Negro recently released a compilation of all Glossolalia output on cassette format. Rhinocervs label has plans for a vinyl version in 2011. Glossolalia also writes under the Absum title, producing Black/Funeral Doom. 2. Glossolalia is also the name of a collaboration between space rock jam band Øresund Space Collective and American poet Dan McGuire. They released their self-titled album in 2010. .
