Jack The Stripper is a hardcore band from Melbourne, Australia. “Black Annis” is the first full-length work from these avant-noise merchants. Containing eight tracks with a central lyrical theme of nightmares and personal demons, this album is a harrowing blend of grind, chaotic hardcore, mosh metal and jazz fusion. Rick Sims, the leader of The Gaza Strippers, was the founding member and leader of pioneering and influential Chicago punk heroes Didjits. Releasing five albums on Touch and Go Records over the course of the late eighties and early nineties, the band toured consistently all over the world.
