Psycho le Cému are: Daishi (vocals), Lida (guitar), Aya (guitar), seek (bass) and YURA-sama (drums). Formed in 1999, their musical style started off as dark, melodic pop. In more recent years their style has become lighter and more colourful. They are strongly influenced by anime and dress up as characters from various anime series and videogames. In 2005 they announced they would be going on hiatus as Daishi was convicted of drug-use. At present all band members are pursuing side-projects. Japanese hardcore punk/metal band formed in the mid 80's. There were some members of legendary The Execute, The Comes and also Dead Cops. They released some singles and pretty successful LP's "Dead Song" and "Under The Sun", which showed band's own vision of blending obscure Japanese hardcore with rock and metal. Psychofagist was a mathcore band originally formed in 2001 in Novara, Italy. The band's music can be described as an avant-garde grindcore which incorporates elements of noise music, technical death metal, punk jazz and free improvisation. Its members mentioned that their key influences are Fantômas, Painkiller, The Locust, Mr. Bungle, Primus, Black Sabbath and Area. Originally formed under the name Excathedra, Psychotogen is a brutal, technical, ferocious and skull-smashing death metal band that has been around the Baltimore, MD scene since the late '90s. Psychotogen's direct and indirect influences have ranged from Death to Slayer to Obituary. Psychotogen even offers melodic passages here and there, some of which hint at progressive rock.
