Tellusalie are a four-piece band from Fredrikstad, Norway. Their music can best be described as rock/folkrock with hints of country. Some critics say they sound similar to both Grizzly Bear and Neil Young. Until now they have released 3 albums, all of them receiving very good reviews. Two of them, including the latest, The Man Across The Fountain, were produced by Knut Schreiner. A dark November night of 2007, Stig Nergård could not sleep. In his boredom he took up his guitar and started playing. As his fingers swept the fret board an idea started to form. An idea that eventually would see to the creation of TELLUS REQUIEM. As he sat through the night, putting the idea to life, he realized the potential of the concept he just sat in motion.
