French artist Minimatic (aka Pascal Houpert) lived for 20 odd years in Paris where he acquired extensive knowledge of the French music scene. Now living in Cognac, his lastest 2008 remixes of Serge Gainsbourg's "Chez les yéyés" and a mashup of Wu Tang Clan's "Back in the game" are getting worldwide attention on many CD compilations. His style can be best described as groovy, tongue-in-cheek and sexy, and the result is danceable and loungy electronic music. Minimatic is also featured extensively on the Boutique Chic label from Paris and also produces film music. .
