Vicky Leandros (born August 23, 1952), daughter of singer, musician and composer Leandros Papathanasiou (known as Leo Leandros - composer pseudonym Mario Panas) is a Greek singer with a long international career.
She was born Vassiliki Papathanasiou in Paleokastritsa, a resort on the island of Corfu in the Ionian Sea. As her father wanted to expand his career he went to Germany while Ficky grew up at her grandmother's house until the age of five. Born in Greve in Chianti in 1959, Aleandro Baldi (birthname Aleandro Civai) was first discovered in 1986 by producer and songwriter Giancarlo Bigazzi, who helped record the track "E la Nave Va," which Baldi premiered at the Sanremo Festival that same year. En 1996 autoedita su primer cassette que llega a manos de Daniel Melero, músico y productor, e introductor de la electrónica en la Argentina desde los años 80. Inmediatamente Melero lo conecto con el sello independiente Sonoridades Amapola, y gracias a su intervencion, edita su debut en cd titulado "Cápsula" (1996) ,álbum de corte aislacionista y experimental. En 1997 por el mismo sello , se publica el EP "Transformador" .
