Ayane (彩音) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Her blog 「choco BANA」 is at http://www.5pb.jp/ayane . She made her debut with the single "KIZUNA" in 2004 and released her first album, 'Archive Lovers', on 25 April 2007. Her single "Nageki no Mori" was used as the opening theme for the PS2 game 'Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri' (ひぐらしのなく頃に祭) Ayane is also known as Junko Hirata when performing for Konami.
