Oskoreien is a black metal band with neofolk and classical elements led by Jay M. Valena. Lyrical themes include Taoism, nihilism, mythology, and society. Oskoreien additionally contributed a song entitled "Ode to Arinbjorn" to Pest Productions' 2010 various artists compilation “Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer", alongside artists such as Agalloch and October Falls.
