The group SARAKINA performs ethnic music originating in the regions of Bulgaria and Macedonia. The objectives of the musicians (students and graduates of music academies) is in capturing the rich musical heritage of classic and unique Balkan compositions. The repertiore of this group is performed by using the original instruments. The ensemble has been playing together since 1999.

Ruslanas is born in Lithuania (b. 1983 October 17). He started career in 2001 like band "Omega" vocalist. He was one of the contestants of the Finnish Idols 2007 -competition and made it to the semifinals. In 2009 he won Lithuanian music realitty show "Muzikos Akademija". .
