He has written or co-written all his own songs, with the exception of "Nature's Way" that appears on his 'Window' album. He was known as an affiliate of the Campanella Park Blood gang, located in Compton. Eleanor Friedberger (born September 2, 1976 in Oak Park, Illinois) is an American musician most well-known for being one half of the indie rock duo The Fiery Furnaces, along with her older brother Matthew Friedberger.
