Tame Impala is a psychedelic rock band from Perth, Australia. It is the project of Kevin Parker who writes and records almost all of the music by himself. Palancar is the main music project of Darrell Burgan. Primarily ambient and electronic in nature, the music of Palancar has evolved considerably over time from his earlier explorations. Nowadays Darrell focuses almost exclusively on ambient music, primarily live ambient provisations performed on internet radio stations and in Second Life. Darrell is very active in the electronic music community, as he is also the founder of ambient net radio station StillStream.com, ambient netlabel EarthMantra.com, and commercial electronic label BlueWaterRecords.com.
