Born and raised in the city of Patra, Alexandros embarked on his musical journey by participating in local rock bands not only as a guitar and bass player but as a singer as well.
By the end of the 70s, he is a member of the punk group “80s Ways” where he composes his first songs. In the meanwhile, he manages to record his first demo using his very first Synthesizer and some poor musical means found in Patra at that time. In 1982 having prepared some synth-pop songs, he travels to Athens and records in the Cosmosound studio...
Sunburn In Cyprus is based in Goettingen, Germany & was founded in 1998, as an avenue to produce electronic music outside of members regular musical work.
Beside remixes for different artists, Sunburn In Cyprus focuses on many different genres such as triphop, house, lounge/chill-out, dance – mixed with catchy pop vocals and jazz influences. Their fanbase includes now listeners all over the world, especially in Australia, Germany, UK, Canada and the USA.

Panayiotis Kokoras (Greece, 1974) studied composition with I.Ioannidi, K. Varotsi, A. Kergomard and classical guitar with E. Asimakopoulo in Athens, Greece. In 1999 he moved to England, for postgraduate studies where he completed his MA and PhD in composition with T. Myatt at the University of York with funds from Arts and Humanities Research Board (AHRB) and Aleksandra Trianti Music Scholarships (Society Friends of Music) among others.
