Absofacto is the solo moniker of Jonathan Visger, who is also the lead vocalist and songwriter for Hollow & Akimbo and Mason Proper. To date, Absofacto has released several EPs (North South Pt. I, Trilobite Trash, and Tagalong), one album comprised of 10 singles (Sinking Islands), and a few new singles. Sofa Head were formed in Darlington, United Kingdom, from a previous band called Dan with Claire Sykes on vocals, Ian Wallis on guitar and vocals, founder Ian Armstrong on bass guitar and Andrew Laing on drums and vocals. Tracks from the band's first first demo, World and Ugly appeared on the Meantime Records compilation Spleurk! in 1988.
