The Library is on Fire is the brainchild of musician Steve Five. Influenced by Dinosaur Jr. and Guided by Voices, the band began as a project in 2007. Five, originally from New York, went to the famous Waterloo Studios in Ohio to record with Guided by Voices producer Todd Tobias. Library Voices is a ten piece pop collective formed in 2008 from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
