Greenhorns is a Norwegian country band. Greenhorns have three vocalists, sharing the lead vocals and the backing vocals between them - each with their own distinct style. There is also a band of the same name coming from Czech republic (see photo). Originally known as Zelenáči (ie."Greenhorns" in czech), this band pionereed country genre in the former Czechoslovakia. They gained notoriety nation-wide thanks to their cover versions of country classics - sung with original lyrics, both touching and full of humor. .
Richard Einhorn is an American composer. In 1975, Einhorn graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University, having studied composition and electronic music with Jack Beeson, Vladimir Ussachevsky, and Mario Davidovsky. Einhorn has written chamber music, songs, ballets, and film and theatre scores. His compositions are heard at Lincoln Center, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and other major venues throughout the world. In 1977, Einhorn produced a recording of Meredith Monk's music for Wergo Records. Mainhorse was a progressive rock band in the beginning of the 70's. They recorded one (self titled) album, which was released 1971. It remained unnoticed and when success failed Mainhorse disbanded soon. Mainhorse were: Patrick Moraz (keyboards) Peter Lockett (lead guitar, violin and vocals) Jean Ristori (bass, cello and vocals) Bryson Graham (drums and percussion) Later drummer Bryson Graham went to play with Gary Wright and Spooky Tooth.
