Flux Information Sciences' music is schizophrenic in the most extreme sense of the word; boasting violent dynamic schisms, bizarre, angular rhythms, and bursts of noise and violence that abruptly shift into weird, brief passages of cerebral, vaguely menacing soundscapes. The vocals are cryptic, sometimes lurid, consumer slogans shouted or chanted over the heaving maelstrom. .
The Metasciences were an acoustic bedroom pop duo formed in 2005 in Oak Park, IL, a suburb of Chicago conducive to making things. They released two online EP's, and one LP online and on CD-R, entitled 'Pencils Down' which is available on this and other websites for free. They are still friends, but right now they are making things that are different. At the date of this writing, there are roughly an second album's worth of songs written, but as of yet unrecorded and unreleased. .
