MintJam is a doujin circle that was formed by setzer and a2c in April 2003. They started as an amateur band offering their sounds on the japanese indie community muzie, but they brushed up their style and performance when Kya joined later in the same year, to become a widely acknowledged indie band. Martin Iveson moved from the North-East of England to the Midlands city of Derby in 1991 to take a position as in-house musician for the then fledgling video games company that went on to produce the Tomb Raider series of games.
