Kago was the second level travelling character from Kurt Vonnegut's Book "Breakfast Of Champions". Kago's music shares some absurdly psychedelic sadness and empathy with Vonnegut's novels and Brautigan's poetry. It also means "travelling chair" in older japanese. Every piece of music is a travelling in a way. The only member of Kago, Lauri Sommer (from Viljandi,Tartu and Sänna, Estonia) is more known as a poet and literary scholar. Hailing out of Northern Cascadia, Skagos brings forth Black Metal (in the vein of Leech and Wolves in the Throne Room). They self-released a demo in 2007, and recorded splits with Tomhet (Canada), Wake and Panopticon. Skagos' first full length, titled Ást, can be purchased through Pesanta Urfolk (vinyl). Now-discontinued editions were released through Eternal Warfare (cassette) and NHR records (CD). The band's second full-length, Anarchic, was released in 2013 through Eternal Warfare (cassette) and Flenser Records (CD). BIOGRAPHY Kagoule formed at school in 2012 and quickly rose to prominence on Nottingham city's live scene before leaving school in 2014 and signing to Earache Records. The debut album Urth is set for release late 2015. They do all their own stunts, including walking.
