Laura van den Bruel, known as Iris or Airis (born January 19 1995 in Morkhoven, Belgium) is a Belgian female singer. On 18 November 2011, it was announced by Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT),[3] that Iris will represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.[2][4][5] She performed the song Would You? but failed to reach the Eurovision final, finished second last in the first semi-final with just 16 points which was the second lowest total for all the semi-finallists. .
