Communiqué is an indie rock/dance-punk band from Oakland, California, United States. The band originally consisted of four musicians (Rory Henderson, Ryan Massey, John Peck and Jamie Kissinger) that had previously played together, and acheived local and national underground success, under the name American Steel.
