Panoptikum is a jazz band from spa town Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic). In 2002 Panoptikum produced album named 'Divnej Pes', which was celebrated together with a guest Radim Hladik in Rotes Berlin, famous rock-club in Karlovy Vary (formerly called Propaganda). Panoptikum's members also form blues trio Accentograve. Accentograve issued a record of live concert in Bulvar, restaurant in Karlovy Vary. A new record was released at the end of 2009 named 'Kopretina'. .

There are two Optik's. 1- UK trance producer Toby Shew, producer of electronic music under two well-known aliases, Optik, in the trance genre, and Toby Shark, for his more progressive work. 2- An alias of Giorgio Canepa, an Italian house producer. .

For 10 years myoptik has been a radio presenter, dj, music journalist, producer and event promoter based in not-so-sunny Leicester. Live performance is Myoptik's natural home with appearances in all sorts of places, under all sorts of musical guises and monikers at events such as the Sonic Arts Network, Summer Sundae, Monastery Of Sound and Delia Derbyshire's old home. Myoptik is also known for his vibrant Leicester based PVC club nights which pioneered his trademark live Funkatronix sound. Expect a wild maelstrom of gutural funk and beautification to exude from his flashing boxes, rum in hand.. .
