María Amparo Ochoa Brown (born Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico - 29 September 1946 - 8 February 1994) was a Mexican singer. Better known as Amparo Ochoa, belonged to a generation of singers that had its origins in the sixties, and emerged from the beginning as the great figure of the nascent Nueva Canción (also Nueva Cancion). Az Ocho Macho zenekar 2003-ban alakult Szombathelyen. A kezdeti időszakban feldolgozásokkal léptek fel, a fő céljuk egy igazi bulizenekar összehozása volt. A koncertek visszajelzései arra ösztönözte a csapatot, hogy még több energiát és időt, valamint pénzt fektessenek a produkcióba. 2007 őszén megjelent háromdalos maxi lemezük, 2008 karácsonyán pedig szerzői kiadásban kiadták első albumukat El mundo fantastico címmel. 2009-re pedig megtörtént az áttörés: egyre több lett a teltházas koncert, kis klubokban és szabadtéri nagy színpadokon egyaránt megfordultak. 2009 őszén végre hivatalosan is megjelenik első nagylemezük, az El mundo Fantastico, melyet Savaria Kingston Town című dalhoz készült videóval is népszerűsítenek.
