Lux Aeterna - French progressive metal band In 2002 the story of the band began in Rennes (France). Walter Français (Drums) and Benoît Toquet (Guitar) who were already playing together met lots of musicians. At the end of 2003 they composed their first songs and wanted to search for other musicians to complete the band. That is how the progressive metal band Lux Aeterna was founded. During the following years (2004/2005) the band was disorganized. At the end of 2005 Nicolas Meyer (Piano/Keyboards), Olivier Le pech (Bass)and Maela Revolt (Vocals/Violin) joined the latter. Ordo Templi Aeternae Lucis is a french black metal band. It was first in 1993 that Hunferd started recording music for his project, "Putrefication", which later changed name to "Hunferd" in 1995, and then finally to O.T.A.L. in 2002. Two demos were released during this time. Three split demos have been released under the name O.T.A.L. In 1996 Hunferd was arrested for exhuming a corpse and using it for such acts as Necrophilia. The history of Luna Aeterna began in July, 2001 when Mihail Kalmykov and Lia decided to play music together. Later Alexandr Salnikov (guitars) joined them. The band's initial name, 'Fullmoon' was designed to express the mystical and romantic mood of their music and lyrics. Their music is considered to be influenced by popular female fronted bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation and Epica. However, Luna Aeterna has less epic and symphonic elements, their music has its own features. Some of the song lyrics are written in Romanian. In 2003 Lia left the band.
