Duresse was a Boston based band consisting of former Wheat member Ricky Brennan Jr. (vocals, guitars, keyboards), and life-long friends Brad Archer (bass, guitars, vocals) and Derek Dutra (drums, vocals). Duresse self-released a 7-song EP in 2005 entitled 'Elate'. Duresse had begun around 2000 while Ricky was still with Wheat, originally as an acoustic-based duo with Dutra, as a vehicle for Brennan's solo material. Brad Archer became involved over the next few years, and the band occasionally performed around the Boston area. Ricky departed from Wheat in late 2004 to focus on Duresse as his primary project.
