The Struts are an English rock band from Derby, Derbyshire. The band currently consists of vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies. The band was formed in 2010 with the original lineup consisting of Spiller and Slack, as well as bassist Jamie Binns and drummer Rafe Thomas. After both of their bands were "coming apart", Spiller and Slack wrote and recorded together for nearly three years. Natiruts are a popular reggae band formed in Brasília, Brazil in 1996. Alexandre Carlo invited his soccer friends from Brasilia city in order to begin a new band in Brazil's capital. They are Luis Mauricio (bass) and Bruno Dourado (percussion). Later, the group 'enlisted' some new members: Izabella Rocha (backing vocals) and Kiko Peres (solo electric guitar). The first album (Nativus) was released in 1997. On the following albums (Verbalize - 2001 and Quatro - 2002) Tonho Gebara participated (solo electric guitar). Nowadays, Alexandre finds himself as lead vocalist and guitar player accompanied by Luis, Bruno, Isabella and drummer Juninho....

FOLLOWING ON FROM THE RUTS Ruts DC was the follow up name used by the surviving three members of The Ruts following the death of singer Malcolm Owen in 1980. They released two albums: Animal Now (a rock record on Virgin in 1981), and Rhythm Collision (a dub reggae record on their own imprint, Bohemian, in 1982, engineered by Mad Professor).
