Asserting themselves as a recognized hardcore punk band, Antiseptic may well be the progenitor of the hardcore punk scene in Indonesia, they started it all way back in 1990 when hardcore punk scene was practically non-existent in Jakarta, their hometown. Antiseptic Beauty were an indie band from Derby, United Kingdom, that formed in 1989. Originally a 5-piece jangle indie-pop band called Evergreen, they were influenced by bands like Felt, and the 'C86' sound, going round at the time.
