A hardcore band formed in 1989 from San Diego . They thrashed about with a sound like none other. Consisting of Matt Anderson on vocals, with Ron Johnson, Scott Bartiloni and Aaron Montaigne. After they broke up in 1993, they went on to form and play with bands such as End of The Line, Antioch Arrow, Spacehorse and Clikatat Ikatowi. There is also a german Minimal musician called Heroin. He has released one self titled 12'' recording in january 2007. .

Motion City Soundtrack is a pop-punk band which includes members Joshua Cain (guitar), Justin Pierre (vocals/guitar), Jesse Johnson (Moog), Matthew Taylor (bass), and Claudio Rivera (drums). Following their high-school graduation, Minneapolis, MN natives Pierre and Cain -- both of whom were inspired by Sunny Day Real Estate, Jawbox, the Flaming Lips, and Superchunk -- formed the band in 1999. The Heroine Sheiks was a New York, United States-based noise rock band until early 2006, when the band called it quits. It began in 1999 as a collaboration of Shannon Selberg, George Porfiris, Norman Westberg and John Fell.
