When it comes to Japanese musicians trying to break through overseas, one of the classic might-have-been stories is that of the Pugs. Toronto-based ATOMZERO is the songwriting partnership of Peter Godziszewski and Gord Clement with strong vocals, and a melody-driven brand of electronic music. Fusing classic electronic influences of early electro-pop, industrial and ebm into a modern mix with dancefloor beats and thoughtful lyrics. Besides having done some remixes ATOMZERO has just released a remix EP "MisDirection" as a single, as well as a full length album titled 'Symbiosis'. .
Pugs Atomz awoke in this world a Leo in Pittsburgh PA., son of an ex Panther turned Radio host and a Painter. His love of Hip Hop developed when his family moved to Chicago; during grade school he would see the graffiti on the trains and in his neighborhood of Englewood. These trains also would have rap groups performing and singers doing their thing for spare change.
