Eulene Sherman: Bass, Vocals Angelo Guitar, Vocals Joshua Moore: Drums Songwriter Angelo has an eerie knack for quiet collaboration. This steady-handed muse with a finely tuned ear for melody has an uncanny ability to uncover and call forth the unique, iconic raw material in the emerging talents he finds. It was Angelo (his presence is distinguished enough that his last name is seldom necessary) who looked at the young Followill brothers and saw the Kings of Leon. His presence as their producer and co-writer (he co-wrote all of their breakout debut album, Youth and Young Manhood) drove the boys to...
There are two bands called The Shermans. One was formed in December 1997 by Mikael Matsson and Torbjorn Thorsen after the break up of Mikael's old band, Red Sleeping Beauty. The band recruited Chrisster Nilsson to play bass and began playing live shows in and around their hometown. Eventually, Torbjorn left the band to start another band, Aerospace, and was soon replaced by Ingela Karlsson as the new Shermans vocalist. The other one is a rock band based in Stirling Scotland who have achieved a top 20 single in their homeland and a UK indie chart hit. Their track 'Calling...

Of their albums, the only ones still in print are Bump And Swing and Those Deep Buds, on San Francisco's Alternative Tentacles label. Marion Coutts - vocalist, trumpet, bells Colin Mclean...

Part of the British Invasion, their trademark simple, non-threatening, clean-cut "boys next door" image made them easier to listen to and more accessible than other British Invasion bands. Their first hit, "I'm Into Something Good", was produced by Mickie Most, reaching #1 in the UK (1963) and #13 in the US (1964). Other hits followed such as "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" (1965) and "I'm Henry VIII, I Am". The last was said at the time to be "the fastest-selling song in...
