American Werewolf Academy is a band based on the unashamed principles of pop. The band's influences range from 60s pop, 70s power pop, post punk to bubblegum rock. Favorite bands of AWA include Roky Erickson, Guided By Voices, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Kinks, Cheap Trick, The New Pornographers, and R.E.M. AWA was formed in the fall of 2003 after Robot Monster Weekend had to call it a day and Slobberbone was taking a break. Three guys from Dallas, TX are in the band. .

Radio Werewolf was formed in Los Angeles, United States in 1984 more as an organization taking it's roots from satanism rather than music. The line up was Nikolas Schreck (vocals), Nathan Pino (organ) and Evil Wilhelm (percussion). James "Filth" Collord was recruited to fill the bass position and the "band" was born!
