The music project The Ergot was born in 2008 from an idea of Ale (drums), Clo (bass guitar) and Diego (guitar), based on a doom death metal with a strong melodic component. From July of the same year, Joseph (guitar) came in the band, and only in January 2009 the vocalist Eddie completes the band. With this stable line-up, the band starts the composition of first Demo-Ep: Anno Domini MMIX .

Ergo Sum (France) Early French prog/jazz-rock! First known as Lemon Pie, was formed by Ledissez and Guerin in 1968. Their innovative blend of rock, jazz and other ingredients characteristically failed to attract French record companies, until Laurent Thibault recognised them as being really impressive in early 1971. Yoshihiro Sakaguchi, better known by his pseudonym: Yuukichan's Papa, did music and/or sound effects for many of Capcom's early titles, and was even involved with Mega Man and Street Fighter in both series' early beginnings. Little is known about the legendary composer, but he left Capcom in the mid 90's, and according to an english translation of this site (via excite.co.jp/world/english/web), he seems to have some involvement with the Mobile Suit Gundam anime franchise.
