Psycho le Cému are: Daishi (vocals), Lida (guitar), Aya (guitar), seek (bass) and YURA-sama (drums). Formed in 1999, their musical style started off as dark, melodic pop. In more recent years their style has become lighter and more colourful. They are strongly influenced by anime and dress up as characters from various anime series and videogames. In 2005 they announced they would be going on hiatus as Daishi was convicted of drug-use. At present all band members are pursuing side-projects. The band's music can be described as an avant-garde grindcore which incorporates elements of noise music, technical death metal, punk jazz and free improvisation.
