Ghosting Season is a side-project from Gavin Miller and Thomas Ragsdale from Manchester, UK. It was born in 2011 out of the foundations of worriedaboutsatan. Their debut four track 'Far End Of The Graveyard EP' was released on June 2011 through This Is It Forever. Re-interpretations by Polinski, Nedry and Enjoyed were included on the October release, 'Far End Of The Graveyard Remixes'. 'The Very Last Of The Saints', their first album, was released on May 2012, via Sasha's Last Night On Earth label. There are three Open Seasons: 1) Open Season is groovy ska and reggae, warm bass and dancing through the night. First of all bass – lots of bass, that goes straight into you. The beats go from tradtional ska and rocksteady through to roots reggae and dancehall. On top of it all, there are jazzy horns and the lead singer's voice moves between soul and ragga. Formed in early 2000, The Drowning Season is a Baltimore, Maryland, gothic rock band consisting of Matt Slowikowski (vocals, programming), Michael “Chewka” Marchewka (guitars) and multi-instrumentalist Sideshow (taking on drum, bass and synth duties). Major influences include The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission (UK) and Fields of the Nephilim. The band’s first release was a four song EP entitled SIX HOLLOW PERFECT THINGS.
