Guildean Gang are an alternative band from Bedfordshire. Often described as somewhere in-between 'The Cure' and 'Sonic Youth', slowly gaining a reputation for combining abrasive guitar parts with dream-like keys. The 4 piece have been creating together since late '06. The name of the band was based on the house name of which Olly the guitarist lived in during college - 'Guildean'. This is where the band would hang out before they started the band, and liked the name as it has no previous connotation. .
The Guild League are an independent pop band from Melbourne, Australia. The Guild League's music can be broadly categorized as independent style pop, although their recorded output stretches from a rap style (Siamese Couplets), to a cappella. Led by Tali White, the vocalist from The Lucksmiths, the band was originally formed as a recording project in 2001. They have released albums through the Matinee Records label in the United States, and the now-defunct Candle Records in Australia. Hailing from Milwaukee and Chicago respectively, Jonn and Heather's mutual drive and passion to create music has forged a unique partnership that is truly taking the dance music industry by storm.
