„Tanz, Du Sau!“ Schon seit langem ist in der Süddeutschen Ska-Szene ein Name nicht mehr zu überhören: Steamy Dumplings! Die acht Jungs aus Munich City haben schon so einige Gigs auf ihrem Kerbholz. Unter anderem wurde auf dem Theatron Open Air, beim Bozener X-Mas Ska Festival, in der Münchner Muffathalle und dem Backstage die Bühne gerockt. Supported wurden bereits Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Stranger Cole, Skaos, Bluekilla, Benuts, Scrapy und die Peeping Toms, um nur einige zu nennen. They’re commonly described as “the most spectacular debut of the year,” and with that title comes responsibility. They way the band came together is at once typical and uncommon. The typical part was that they met on YouTube.
