The Arrival bounced onto the scene in April 2008 with the release of their self written, produced, and recorded EP, "Believe The Hype". The band's innate ability for songwriting was apparent, and "Believe The Hype" quickly garnered a steadily growing buzz both online and throughout the music industry. Following the release of "Believe The Hype" and a few months of touring independently, the band was picked up by The Artery Foundation Artist Management Group and The Agency Group. The Arrivals are a four piece from Blue Island, Illinois, Southside of Chicago. They write songs about everything and nothing, sometimes all at once. They sound like Mission of Burma trying to write Kinks songs, though most people have their own f-ed up description that may be just as valid. They've toured with Dillinger Four(with whom they now share a bass player), The Soviettes, Toys That Kill, Rise Against, Tiltwheel, Vena Cava, Grabass Charlestons, and The Lawrence Arms. This is The Arrival are four friends, everyone by the age of 20, that have known each other since their childhood and recently have established their name on Munich’s Indielist of bands. Mario Clement (vocals, guitar), Timo Kuroschinski (guitar, vocals), Piet Gerhardinger (drums) and Martin Brugger (bass, vocals) write guitar pop songs, sounding like souly Killers or pretty humorous Bloc Party. Catchy like neon lights and danceable like a Justice remix of “Nightfever”, rocking every dance floor you put your shiny shoes on.
