Tsui consists of Mark Kraus and, sometimes, Jeff Patlingrao, Andrew Santospago, Ryan Clancy, Mike Paulo, and/or Arto Payaslian, although Kraus is the central member. After departing Jr. Corduroy, Kraus began recording in various living rooms in New York, Boston and LA. What he recorded would later become the foundation for Tsui.
